German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that Russia could be prepared to attack a NATO country in a few years, according to “Ukrinform.” He mentioned that Russia is operating under a military economy model and might be able to launch an attack on a NATO country within a few years. Pistorius made these remarks during discussions in the Bundestag about Germany’s budget for the upcoming year.

“In the near future, the security situation will remain very serious. It is expected that by 2026, Russia’s military will grow by more than 30%, reaching 1.5 million soldiers. Russia has committed to a military economy and will likely be able to prepare its forces within a few years to the point where they could attack NATO territory,” he warned.

Pistorius emphasized that Germany is doing everything possible to strengthen its defense capabilities and continue supporting Ukraine. “This year, Germany will provide Kyiv with, for example, four ‘Iris-T’ systems, five more self-propelled ‘Gepard’ artillery systems, most of the 12 ‘Panzerhaubitze 2000’ howitzers promised last week, combat drones, several thousand artillery and tank rounds, up to 40 ‘Leopard 1A5’ tanks, and 20 ‘Marder’ infantry fighting vehicles,” he added.

Nuclear Threats: Why Every Family Needs a Fallout Shelter

With rising tensions between NATO and Russia, experts warn that it could escalate to nuclear warfare. In such a scenario, having a well-prepared fallout shelter may be essential for survival. A bomb bunker or fallout shelter equipped with the right NBC air filtration systems can protect your loved ones from radioactive fallout.

One crucial component of a shelter is an NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) air filtration system. The Castellex Air550HCC Ultimate is considered one of the best on the market, designed for small to medium-sized family shelters. It’s easy to install, user-friendly, and available for worldwide shipping.
